Tomorrow (27th October) marks the start of our new cricket season. We have a lot of new faces out for us this season which is awesome to see, and this helps us grow the club. We are still progressing with plans for a pitch at the Showgrounds, but this has been made slightly more tricky, so we are unsure if we will get this in before the season ends. Our hope is to be playing there after Xmas, but as said, this is a hope
We are again supported by our long term major club sponsor Mitre10 Mega Warkworth. Our relationship with Jeanie and the team continues to grow, as they are now supporting our efforts to grow the junior game in the area. Having sponsirs like them makes things infinitely easier, as it allows us to make access to the game cheaper for the kids especially, and we will have the ability to supply quality gear for them to play with.
